Demo in linux

The KBasic is a demo in linux? Maybe I don't understand the license...on the web page it says full version for linux (unless) your selling your application - witch I'm not, I'm just testing(between this and realbasic). So my question is why can't I build a bin file....this is linux?

It's my fault, cause I accidentally added the need for the license key to the linux version as well.
I will change this in the next version for linux comming soon.

In the current linux version is a bug preventing creation of executables. I
will soon upload a new version for linux after I fixed two bugs in the
windows version.

No key is needed except that you are reminded that you are only allowed to create GPL software on Linux, if you do not have a commercial license from kbasic software.

Kind regards,
Bernd

When will the update be...or a guess at a release date? I've narrowed my two vb'sh choices down to Gambas2 and this, so I'm really curious as to how well this will work.
