kbide.exe Can't delete project items

I inserted a module from another project, realised that it wasn't what I wanted and tried to delete it.
CTRL C on the module and then clicked OK when asked if I wanted to delete the file. The file disappeared, quite correctly, from the list of project files. I then 'saved all', killed the IDE and re-started it. The file I'd deleted re-appeared. The reason, I think, was that I had the code window for the unwanted file open at the time of closing the IDE. If I opened the project WITHOUT showing the unwanted code window, deleted the item, THEN 'save all', the item had been removed as it should when I re-opened the project.
The problem appears to be that deleting an item doesn't remove/close the open code window (or form).
Another problem that this highlights is that it isn't possible to close an open code or form window in the IDE. This means that you can't keep the screen tidy when working on a big project.
