Error Install on KDE 4.2

Postby neo67 » Wed Jan 28, 2009 2:27 pm

Hello,

I want to install KBasic on a Suse 11.1 with KDE 4.2 and get this error:

Code: Select all
 ./installer_kbasic_professional_linux.bin
./installer_kbasic_professional_linux.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libqt-mt.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Any idea?

thanks

Looks like the Qt3 libraries are not installed at all, which the installer needs for running. Or the Qt3 libraries are in a different location.

I thought the Qt3 libraries would be part of the Linux Standard Base (LSB). Curious.

Anyway, I plan to add a tar.gz installer package as well soon.

Well, the required libraries for Qt3 are not listed on that page. Try to insall all Qt3 named packages with your installer on Kubuntu.
