Help with Kbasic and PostgreSQL

Good afternoon, I'm new to the forum and am KBasic rookie at this moment I am evaluating as a possibility, because I want to migrate an application that have already developed, and fails to connect with PostgreSQL, but I want to know how to handle the recordset or the equivalent for data validation, if anyone can help me or indicate where I can find some examples that guide me to develop faster.
