Could not run KBasic 1,7!

After installing KBasic 1,7 its icon in the start menu is empty and when trying to run it a message:
"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem" ios displayed.

I'm having the same problem with 1.71 as well.
The EXE looks to be corrupt or something. No icon in the EXE or anything. I completely uninstalled and re-installed. Is there a link somewhere to get the most recent version of 1.69 back?

, KBasic 1.7 and 1.71. Win XP sp3 and Vista sp1.Thanks

After installing mine in windows vista (The install went fine) I could not delete the install icon it said permission denied

Exactly this happens. 1,71 does not work, too.

Just preparing an upload. I fixed the issue, which was related to my switch to the newest VC++.
But I enabled full optimization in compiling as well and found a problem in dealing with input and output between the separate programs of KBasic. After I found a solution for this, I will upload the file. Sorry for the delay.
The new installer is MSI based and I hope to address the problems someone reported with some Windows versions.
