Linux, Mac Phonon Error

Just getting to terms with Kbasic so am trying all the examples. When I run the movie examples I get the following error on both Mac and Linux (not on Windows) This is the Mac message

Debug: WARNING: Phonon needs QCoreApplication::applicationName to be set to export audio output names through the DBUS interface

Could quite possibly be something I need to set up. Anyone able to help?
On Linux (g-OS) the application (not KBasic) just stops, on Mac the applicaton runs but of course no movie shows.
